Danish controversy

Have you heard about the danish newspaper that put's 12 Illustration's of Muhhamad which leads to a huge controversy?

"A freedom of expression is not about doing whatever we want to do because we can do it, it is about creating an open marketplace for ideas and debate where all, including the marginalised can take part as equals"//Ziauddin
Sardar//bbc news.
Do we have the right to say whatever we want even if its false and dangerous?_Karen Armstrong, A british author of Muhammad:a Biography of the Prophet

Everyone are able to see and judge them for themselves, thats the point being of freedom of speech. Many of us want the same freedoms as everyone else to debate, criticise and choose what they believe. We fought hard for it but it carries responsibilities. And FOS has developed as one of our sacred values.Of course many who are upset and hurt with these kind of ways, but that's the point of living in a free society, don't you think? And with a different levels of modernisation in many parts of the world makes modernisation and secularisation clashes.

PS: this illustration has been released in Egypt on since October 2005 but none of critics have been heard.
And feel free to share me your point of view!
